WELCOME

The mission of the Child First Advocacy Center (CFAC) and Rutland Unit for Special Investigations (RUSI) is to provide a safe and supportive environment to assist victims and their families in the discovery, intervention, treatment and prevention of child sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, adult sexual violence, and families affective by violence. Our goal is to provide quality investigations, assist successful prosecution and to reduce trauma and stress to victims and their family members. CFAC provides a structure for Rutland County, as the central agency through which all allegations specified in child sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, sexual exploitation, human trafficking, adult sexual assault, and children witness to violence, are channeled.
